DMCA Takedown Request Process
To submit a DMCA takedown request, please provide the following information in writing:
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works at that site.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material.
- Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an electronic mail address at which you may be contacted.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
- The decryption key for the allegedly infringing file(s). As our service uses end-to-end encryption, we require the decryption key to validate the copyright claim. Without this key, we cannot access or review the content of the file(s) in question.

False Claims
Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability for damages. Providing a decryption key for content you do not own may constitute a false claim.
Repeat Infringers
We have a policy of terminating the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
Counter-Notices
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice. Please contact our DMCA agent for information on how to submit a counter-notice.

We understand the sensitive nature of decryption keys. We will use the provided key solely for the purpose of reviewing the alleged copyright infringement and will delete it immediately after our review is complete. We will not share the decryption key with any third parties, including the user who uploaded the content in question.
